The individual shapes of conventional cosmetic compacts are not well suited to easily align with each other to form a desired pattern. In certain embodiments, the tail of one of the cosmetic compacts slides in the slot of a corresponding compact of the cosmetic compacts in order to form a reliable connection between the cosmetic compacts.

In some embodiments, the body of each of the cosmetic compacts includes a recess formed in a side wall of the body which is opposite the cover. In some embodiments, the cover of each of the cosmetic compacts includes a projection formed on a side surface of the cover which is opposite the body. In some embodiments, the protrusion of one of the cosmetic compacts engages with the depressing of a corresponding compact of the cosmetic compacts.
In some embodiments, the body of each of the cosmetic compacts further includes a base and a platform mounted on the base. In some embodiments, the base includes a base wall and a base peripheral wall extending from a periphery of the base wall to the cover and including a recessed section to form a pivot portion. Therefore, the disadvantages of conventional cosmetic compacts can be reduced.

In certain embodiments, with reference to FIG. 1 and to FIG. 2, the cosmetic compact 8 comprises a body 1, a cover 2 pivotally connected to the body 1, a coupling element 3 mounted on the body 1, a fixing element 4 mounted on the cover 2 and a pivot rod 5 extending through the body 1 and the cover 2 so as to allow the cover 2 to pivot relative to the body 1.
In certain embodiments, with reference to FIG. 1, the body 1 comprises a base 11 and a platform 12 mounted on the base 11. In certain embodiments, the base 11 comprises a base wall 111; a base peripheral wall 112 extending from a periphery of the base wall 111 up to the cover 2 and comprising a recessed section in order to form a pivot part 113; and a recess 114 formed in a lateral surface of the base wall 111 which is opposite the cover 2.
In certain embodiments, with reference to FIG. 1 and to FIG. 2, the platform 12 of the body 1 comprises a platform wall 121 comprising a recessed portion to form a pivot groove 122; a platform peripheral wall 123 extending from the platform wall 121 towards the base wall 111 of the base 11 and defining a body housing hole 124; and a support fin 125 extending from the platform wall 121 to the base wall 111 of the base 11.

In certain embodiments, with reference to FIG. 2, the pivot rod 5 extends through the pivot part 113 of the base 11 and the pivot block 23 of the cover 2 in order to allow the cover 2 to pivot by relation to the body 1.
FIG. 3A is a perspective view of the cosmetic compact 8 when the lid 2 is in an open state, and FIG. 3B is a perspective view of the cosmetic compact 8 when the lid 2 is in the closed state. In certain embodiments, with reference to FIG. 3A and to FIG. 3B, when a user uses the cosmetic compact 8, the cover 2 can pivot between the open state and the closed state, so that when the cover 2 is in the open state, the cover peripheral wall 22 of the cover 2 is at a distance from the base peripheral wall 112 of the body 1 and the fixing element 4 is at a distance from the coupling element 3, and when the cover 2 is in the closed state, the peripheral wall of the cover 22 of the cover 2 is in contact with the base peripheral wall 112 of the body 1 and the fixing element 4 is close to the coupling element 3.
In an exemplary embodiment, with reference to FIG. 1 and to FIG. 2, the cosmetic compact 8 further comprises a recessed fixing element groove formed in the cover 2 to allow the fixing element 4 to be embedded in it. In the exemplary embodiment, the quantities of fasteners 4, recesses 114, protrusions 24 and grooves of recessed fasteners 25 are each one.
In the exemplary embodiment, with reference to FIG. 1 and to FIG. 2, the cosmetic compact 8 comprises two coupling elements 3 spaced apart mounted between the base 11 and the platform 12 of the body 1, and mounted symmetrically and respectively of the two opposite sides of the body 1. The base 11 further comprises two spaced-apart recessed coupling element grooves 115 arranged symmetrically and respectively on the two opposite sides of the base 11 and formed in the base peripheral wall 112 to allow the coupling elements 3 to be respectively embedded in the latter. The platform 12 further comprises two spaced apart coupling element retaining grooves 126 arranged symmetrically and respectively on the two opposite sides of the platform 12 and formed in the platform wall 121 to respectively retain the coupling elements 3.
In the exemplary embodiment, the cosmetic compact 8 comprises two pivot rods 5 arranged to allow the cover 2 to pivot relative to the body
1. One of the pivot rods 5 extends on one side of the pivot part 113 in a corresponding side of the pivot block 23 and the other of the pivot rods 5 extends on an opposite side of the pivot part 113 in a corresponding side of the pivot block 23.
In the exemplary embodiment, with reference to Figure 2, the fastener 4 and the recessed fastener groove 25 are V-shaped. In other embodiments, the shapes of the element fastener 4 and the recessed fastener groove 25 may vary.
In other embodiments, the amounts of fasteners 4, protrusions 24, recessed fastener grooves 25, coupling elements 3, recesses 114, coupling element grooves recessed 115 and coupling element retaining grooves 126 may vary. For example, in other embodiments, the cosmetic compact 8 may comprise two fastening elements 4, two grooves of recessed fastening element 25, a single coupling element 3 and a single groove of recessed coupling element 115 (The same objective can be achieved when the coupling element 3 and the recessed coupling element groove 115 are V-shaped even if the cosmetic compact 8 includes only a single coupling element 3 and a single groove recessed coupling element 115).
In the exemplary embodiment, the body 1 and the cover 2 are made of polypropylene, while in other embodiments, the materials of the body 1 and the cover 2 may vary.
In other embodiments, the coupling element retaining groove 126 can be omitted since the coupling element 3 can be firmly embedded in the recessed coupling element groove 115 using other methods.
In the exemplary embodiment, with reference to FIG. 2, the platform 12 comprises two support fins 125 extending from the platform wall 121 to the base wall 111 of the base 11, and each of the fins support 125 is arranged to provide support force to the platform wall 121.
In other embodiments, the amount of support fins 125 may vary, while in other embodiments, the support fin 125 may be omitted altogether.
During an assembly operation of the cosmetic compact 8, in the exemplary embodiment, the coupling elements 3 are first and respectively embedded in the grooves of the embedded coupling element 115, and the platform 12 is then mounted on the base 11. With such an arrangement, the coupling element retaining grooves 126 are respectively aligned with the recessed coupling element grooves 115, and thus the coupling element retaining grooves 126 respectively retain the coupling elements. coupling 3. Next, the fastener 4 is recessed in the recessed fastener groove 25 of the cover 2, and the pivot block 23 of the cover 2 is then mounted in the pivot portion 113 of the body 1. In the exemplary embodiment, the coupling elements 3 are configured in the form of magnets and the fixing element is configured in the form of a sheet of iron, so that when the cover 2 is in the state closed, the fixing element 4 is in contact with the coupling elements 3 and is attracted magnetically by the coupling elements 3 in order to reliably fix the cover 2 to the body 1.
FIG. 3C is a view similar to the view of FIG. 3A, but illustrates the base 11 of the body 1 of the cosmetic compact 8 comprising the base peripheral wall 112 and the recessed coupling element grooves 115 molded inside the base peripheral wall 112. In other embodiments, with reference to FIG. 3C, the recessed coupling element groove 115 can be molded inside the base peripheral wall 112 of the base 11, of so that the coupling elements 3 are not visible to the user when the cover 2 is in the open state. With such an arrangement, when the cover 2 is in the closed state, the fixing element 4 is spaced from the coupling element 3.
In the exemplary embodiment, the cover 2 is transparent, so that the user can observe the cosmetic powder contained in the cosmetic compact 8 without changing the state of the cover 2. In other embodiments, the cover 2 may not be transparent, and may be of a color which is identical to the color of the cosmetic powder, so that the user can always distinguish the color of the cosmetic powder when the cover 2 is in the closed state.
Figure 4 is a top view of the cosmetic compact 8 according to certain embodiments of the present disclosure and Figure 5 is a sectional view taken along line II in Figure 4. In some embodiments, with reference in Figure 2, Figure 4 and Figure 5, the body housing hole 124 of the body 1 combines with the cover housing hole 221 of the cover 2 to form a housing space 6. The cosmetic powder is housed in the accommodation space 6.
In the exemplary embodiment, the cosmetic compact 8 is in the form of a drop of water, and in other embodiments, the cosmetic compact 8 can be formed in other polygonal shapes such as a triangular shape, a rectangular shape, a pentagonal shape and a hexagonal shape.
In the exemplary embodiment, the projection 24 and the depression 114 are formed in the shape of the cosmetic compact 8, so that the projection 24 and the depression 114 are in the form of a drop of water. In other embodiments, the shapes of the projection 24 and of the depression 114 may be different from the shape of the cosmetic compact 8.
Figure 6 is a schematic view illustrating five cosmetic compacts 8 assembled to form a petal pattern. In certain embodiments, with reference to FIG. 6, the user can assemble a plurality of cosmetic compacts 8 to form a desired pattern to present an aesthetic appearance. Referring to Figure 2 and Figure 6, in some embodiments, the cosmetic compacts 8 are juxtaposed to form a set of cosmetic compacts 9; when the cosmetic compacts 8 are assembled, the coupling elements 3 of the cosmetic compacts 8 are connected together to form reliable connections among the cosmetic compacts 8, so that the cosmetic compacts 8 are not easily dismantled. In the exemplary embodiment, when the cosmetic compacts 8 are assembled, the coupling elements 3 of the cosmetic compacts 8 attract each other magnetically to form reliable connections among the cosmetic compacts 8.
FIG. 7 is a schematic view illustrating the cosmetic compacts 8 assembled in a sliding dovetail assembly. With reference to FIG. 7, in another embodiment, the cosmetic compacts 8 are juxtaposed to form a set of cosmetic compacts 10. With reference to FIG. 7, each of the cosmetic compacts 8 comprises two coupling elements 3 'configured under the shape of a slit and a tail, respectively. When the cosmetic compacts 8 are assembled, the tail of one of the cosmetic compacts 8 slides inside the slot of an adjacent compacts of the cosmetic compactors 8 in order to form reliable connections among the cosmetic compacts 8, so that cosmetic compacts 8 are not easily disassembled.
Figure 8 is a schematic view illustrating the cosmetic compacts 8 assembled according to a tenon and mortise assembly. With reference to FIG. 8, in yet another embodiment, the cosmetic compacts 8 are juxtaposed in order to form a set of cosmetic compacts 11. With reference to FIG. 8, each of the cosmetic compacts 8 comprises two coupling elements 3 ” configured as a tenon and a mortise, respectively. When the cosmetic compacts 8 are assembled, the post of one of the cosmetic compacts 8 engages with the mortise of an compact compact adjacent to the cosmetic compactors 8 in order to form reliable connections among the cosmetic compacts 8, so that the cosmetic compacts 8 are not easily disassembled.
Figure 9 is a schematic view illustrating cosmetic compacts 8 in a vertically stacked configuration. With reference to FIG. 9, in certain embodiments, the user can stack the cosmetic compacts 8 vertically in order to reduce the space occupied for easy transport. In the exemplary embodiment, the cosmetic compacts 8 are stacked vertically in order to form a set of cosmetic compacts 12. With such an arrangement, with reference to FIG. 1, to FIG. 2 and to FIG. 9, the projection 24 of one of the cosmetic compacts 8 engages with the depression 114 of a compact compact corresponding to the cosmetic compacts 8.
FIG. 10 is a schematic view illustrating several patterns which can be formed with the change in shape of each of the cosmetic compacts 8. For example, in certain embodiments, a pattern can be formed with six hexagonal cosmetic compacts 8 and another pattern can be formed with six cosmetic compacts of triangular shape 8.
In conclusion, with the arrangement of the coupling element 3, the cosmetic compacts 8 can be assembled to present a desired pattern. In addition, with the arrangement of the recess 114 and the projection 24, the cosmetic compacts 8 can be stacked vertically in order to reduce the space occupied. Therefore, the purpose of the disclosure is achieved.

One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a set of cosmetic compacts which can allow a user to vertically stack a plurality of cosmetic compacts for easy transport. The cosmetic compact set includes a plurality of vertically stacked cosmetic compacts. In some embodiments, each of the cosmetic compacts includes a body and a cover pivotally connected to the body. In some embodiments, the body of each of the cosmetic compacts includes a recess formed on a side surface of the body which is opposite the cover. In some embodiments, the cover of each of the cosmetic compacts includes a projection formed on a side surface of the cover which is opposite the body. In some embodiments, the protrusion of one of the cosmetic compacts engages with the depressing of a corresponding compact of the cosmetic compacts.
Although this disclosure and its benefits have been described in detail, it is understood that various changes, substitutions and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit or scope of the disclosure, as defined by the appended claims. For example, many of the methods discussed above can be implemented in different methodologies and replaced by other methods or their combination.
In addition, the scope of this application is not intended to be limited to the particular embodiments of the process, the machine, the manufacture, the composition, the means, the methods and the steps described in the specification. As will be readily appreciated by those skilled in the art from the disclosure of this disclosure, the methods, machines, manufacturing, compositions, means, methods or steps, existing presently or subsequently developed, which substantially perform the same function or obtain substantially the same result as the corresponding embodiments described here, can be used according to the present disclosure. Therefore, the appended claims are intended to include within their scope such processes, machines, manufacturing, compositions, means, methods or steps.

Claims (20)

1. Cosmetic compact comprising:
a body ; and a cover pivotally connected to the body;
wherein the body includes a recess formed in a side surface of the body which is opposite the cover;
wherein the cover includes a projection formed on a side surface of the cover which is opposite the body; and in which the penetration of the body corresponds both in terms of shape and size to the projection of the cover.

2. Cosmetic compact according to claim 1, further comprising two coupling elements mounted on the body and configured in the form of a slot and a tail, respectively.

3. Cosmetic compact according to claim 1, further comprising two coupling elements mounted on the body and configured in the form of a mortise and a tenon, respectively.

Cosmetic compact according to claim 1, further comprising a coupling element mounted on the body and a fixing element mounted on the lid, in which the lid can pivot between an open state and a closed state, so that when the lid is in the open state, the fastener is at a distance from the coupling element, and when the cover is in the closed state, the fastening element is near the coupling element.

Cosmetic compact according to claim 4, in which the coupling element is configured in the form of a magnet and the fixing element is configured in the form of an iron sheet, so that when the cover is in the closed state, the fastening element is attracted magnetically by the coupling element in order to reliably fix the cover to the body.

6. Cosmetic compact according to claim 5, in which:
the body further includes a base and a platform mounted on the base;
the base includes a base wall, and a base peripheral wall extending from a periphery of the base wall to the cover and including a recessed section to form a pivot portion;
the depression is formed in a lateral surface of the base wall which is opposite the cover;
the platform includes a platform wall including a recessed portion to form a pivot groove, and a platform peripheral wall extending from the platform wall to the base wall of the base and defining a body housing hole; and the cover further comprises a cover wall, a peripheral cover wall extending from a periphery of the cover wall to the base peripheral wall and defining a cover housing hole communicating with the housing hole body, and a pivot block extending from the cover wall and the peripheral cover wall passing through the pivot groove of the platform in the pivot portion of the base.

7. Cosmetic compact according to claim 6, in which the platform of the body further comprises a support fin extending from the platform wall to the base wall of the base.

8. Cosmetic compact according to claim 7, further comprising a pivot rod extending through the pivot part of the base and the pivot block of the cover in order to allow the cover to pivot relative to the body.

9. Cosmetic compact according to claim 8, in which:
the base of the body further includes a recessed coupling element groove arranged to allow the coupling element to be recessed therein;
the cover further comprises a recessed fixing element groove arranged to allow the fixing element to be recessed inside the latter; and the platform of the body further includes a coupling element retaining groove arranged to retain the coupling element.

10. Cosmetic compact according to claim 9, in which the fixing element and the recessed fixing element groove are V-shaped.

11. Cosmetic compact according to claim 10, wherein the recessed coupling element groove is molded inside the base peripheral wall of the base.

12. A cosmetic compact according to claim 10, wherein the groove of recessed coupling element is formed in a surface of the base peripheral wall of the base which is in contact with the cover.

13. Set of cosmetic compacts comprising:
a plurality of juxtaposed cosmetic compacts;
wherein each of the cosmetic compacts includes a body, a cover pivotally connected to the body, and a coupling member mounted on the body; and in which the coupling elements of the cosmetic compacts connect to each other in order to form reliable connections among the cosmetic compacts.

14. Cosmetic compacts assembly according to claim 13, in which: each of the cosmetic compacts comprises two coupling elements configured in the form of two magnets; and the magnets of cosmetic compacts attract magnetically to form reliable connections among cosmetic compacts.

A set of cosmetic compacts according to claim 13, in which: each of the cosmetic compacts comprises two coupling elements configured in the form of a slot and a tail, respectively; and the tail of one of the cosmetic compacts slides in the slot of a corresponding compact cosmetic compact to form a reliable connection between the two cosmetic compacts.

A set of cosmetic compacts according to claim 13, in which: each of the cosmetic compacts comprises two coupling elements configured in the form of a mortise and a tenon, respectively; and the post of one of the cosmetic compacts is engaged with the mortise of a corresponding compact of the cosmetic compacts to form a reliable connection between the cosmetic compacts.

17. Set of cosmetic compacts according to claim 13, in which:
the body of each cosmetic compact contains a recess formed in a lateral surface of the body which is opposite the cover; and the cover of each cosmetic compact includes a projection formed on a side surface of the cover which is opposite the body.

18. Set of cosmetic compacts comprising:
a plurality of cosmetic compacts stacked vertically;
wherein each of the cosmetic compacts includes a body and a cover pivotally connected to the body;
wherein the body of each of the cosmetic compacts includes a recess formed in a side surface of the body which is opposite the cover;
wherein the lid of each cosmetic compact includes a projection formed on a side surface of the lid which is opposite the body; and in which the projection of one of the cosmetic compacts engages the depression of a corresponding compact of the cosmetic compacts.

19. Cosmetic compacts assembly according to claim 18, in which the depressions of the cosmetic compacts correspond both from the point of view of shape and size, to the projections of the cosmetic compacts.

20. Cosmetic compacts assembly according to claim 19, in which: each of the cosmetic compacts further comprises a coupling element mounted on the body and a fixing element mounted on the cover; and the cover can rotate between an open state and a closed state, so that when
5 the cover is in the open state, the fixing element is at a distance from the coupling element and when the cover is in the closed state, the fixing element is near the coupling element.
